Changing Your Fundraiser Link

A custom fundraiser link makes your page easier to share, remember, and find. GiveSendGo automatically generates a link from your fundraiser title when you create it, and you can edit it afterward if you want something different.

How to Set or Edit Your Custom Link

Your fundraiser link can be set or changed from Edit Campaign:

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Go to My Campaigns and open the fundraiser you want to manage
  3. Click Edit Campaign on the Dashboard
  4. Locate the Campaign URL (Optional) field
  5. Enter the custom link you want to use
  6. Save your changes

If the link is available, it will be assigned to your fundraiser immediately.

Before You Choose a Link

Keep these points in mind:

  • Custom links must be unique, so no two fundraisers can share the same link
  • Custom links can only include letters, numbers, and hyphens
  • Changing your link will break any previously shared links, so update your social posts if you do

Choose something simple and closely related to your fundraiser's purpose.

If Your Preferred Link Is Already Taken

If the link you want isn't available, try one of these variations:

  • Add a location: john-medical-fund-virginia
  • Include a year: smith-family-fund-2026
  • Add a short word like "support," "relief," or "fund": team-tina-support
  • Use hyphens to separate words for readability
