Understanding the Suggested Tip on GiveSendGo

The Suggested Tip: What It Is and How to Edit It

GiveSendGo stays free because of the generosity of givers who choose to support the platform alongside the fundraisers they believe in. Rather than charging platform fees, we give you the option to leave a tip, and we want to make sure you understand exactly what it is before you give.

What Your Tip Goes Toward

Your optional tip supports our operational costs (like hosting, platform development, and dedicated support staff) and allows us to pursue mission outreach and prayer initiatives. These contributions are what allow GiveSendGo to stay free for fundraiser organizers and givers worldwide.

Why You See a Tip at Checkout

When you go to give, a suggested tip amount appears automatically. It's completely optional, fully adjustable, and clearly shown before you confirm your donation.

How to Edit or Remove the Tip

On the donation page, scroll to the Help Keep GiveSendGo Free! section, then:

  1. Open the drop-down menu
  2. Select Other
  3. Enter your desired amount
Set the tip to $0 and no tip will be charged.

No Pressure

We believe in generosity without pressure. Your decision to give to a fundraiser is already an act of hope, and we're grateful for it regardless of whether you leave a tip.

If you do choose to add a tip, thank you, it helps us keep GiveSendGo free and continue supporting people in need around the world.

If you have questions about a tip charge on your statement, Contact Us and we'll help sort it out.
