Adding Images and Videos to Your Fundraiser on GiveSendGo

Your fundraiser is a living story, and your visuals should grow with it. Fresh images and videos show progress, highlight milestones, and remind supporters why their generosity matters. Here's how to add images and videos to your fundraiser and what to do if something isn't displaying correctly.

How Media Appears on Your Fundraiser Page

Your main image or video appears at the top of your fundraiser page. If you add additional images or videos, they display as a slideshow in the header. Visitors can click the arrows beside the main image to scroll through.

Adding More Images or Videos

To add media to your gallery:

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Go to My Fundraisers and open the fundraiser you want to manage
  3. Click Edit Fundraiser
  4. Scroll down to Fundraiser Gallery
  5. Click Upload Image to add images from your device, or Add Video to paste a video link

Supported video platforms: YouTube, Vimeo, and Rumble.

For Rumble: use the embed iframe link, not the regular video page link. The standard page link will not display correctly.

Image Requirements

To avoid upload issues, make sure your image meets these guidelines:

  • File format: JPG or PNG
  • Recommended ratio: 16:9
  • Minimum size: 800 x 450 pixels
  • Maximum file size: 5MB

If your image is too large, free tools like TinyPNG or Image Resizer can compress it before upload.

Common Issues

My video isn't showing.

  • For Rumble, confirm you used the embed iframe link, not the page link
  • Make sure the video is set to public on the hosting platform
  • YouTube Shorts are not supported. Use a standard YouTube video link.

My images look cropped.

Use a 16:9 aspect ratio for best results. Images with other ratios will be cropped to fit the header area.

My gallery isn't visible.

Make sure you added media in the Fundraiser Gallery section under Edit Fundraiser. Media uploaded here appears in the gallery slideshow on your fundraiser page.
