Your phone number is used to verify your account at signup and to help you recover access if you're ever locked out. For recipients who opt in, it may also be used for prayer calls. We don't use it for marketing and we never share it with third parties.
When you create your account, GiveSendGo sends a one-time code to your mobile phone. Entering that code confirms the number is valid and that you're the one creating the account. This step helps protect the GiveSendGo community from fraudulent signups.
If you ever lose access to your account, your verified phone number lets GiveSendGo confirm your identity quickly and restore your access securely.
You can use the number of someone you trust, like a family member or close friend, to complete verification. If that's not an option, Contact Us and we'll find another way to get you set up.
If you ran into trouble during phone verification at signup, see Troubleshooting Issues with SMS Verification at Signup.
