Managing and Cancelling Recurring Donations

Recurring donations, also called Subscriptions, are a way to give consistently to a fundraiser you care about. You can update the payment method on a recurring donation or cancel it at any time from your My Impact page.

How to Update the Payment Method on a Recurring Donation

1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
2. Click Account in the top right, then select My Impact
3. On the My Donations tab, find the subscription you want to update (tip: if you have a long list, use the filter dropdown and switch it from All to Subscription)
4. Open Manage Recurring Donation on the subscription card
5. Update your payment method and save your changes

Future charges for that subscription will use the new payment method. Charges that already processed stay on the original payment method.

How to Cancel a Recurring Donation

1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
2. Click Account in the top right, then select My Impact
3. On the My Donations tab, find the subscription you want to cancel (tip: if you have a long list, use the filter dropdown and switch it from All to Subscription)
4. Click Cancel Subscription on the subscription card
5. In the Cancel Subscription dialog, type STOP in the Confirmation field
6. Click Confirm

Once cancelled, the subscription's status will change to Canceled on your My Donations list and you'll receive a confirmation notification in your account. No further donations will be charged.

If you'd like to give again in the future, you can click Donate Again on the canceled subscription card or start a new recurring donation from any fundraiser page.
