Every gift on GiveSendGo matters. Here's what you can expect once yours goes through.
You'll receive a donation receipt by email at the address you entered during checkout. If you don't see it right away, check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, use the Contact Us button and we can resend it.
What Campaign Owners Can See
Even if you choose to hide your name from public view, the campaign owner and recipient can still see your legal name and email address in their dashboard, so they can track donations accurately and reach out to thank you.
What You Can Update After Donating
Using the link in your donation receipt email, you can:
- Edit the name displayed on the campaign page
- Change your anonymity status
- Update or remove the comment you left with your donation
When You Might Hear From Us
Depending on what you selected during checkout, you may receive additional emails, such as:
- Campaign updates, if you chose to follow the campaign
- Occasional emails from GiveSendGo, if you opted in during checkout
All emails are tied to your selections at checkout and your email preferences. You can manage or update those preferences at any time using the links in our emails.
Getting Help
Most donations go through without issue. If you run into any of the following, use the Contact Us button and our team will look into it:
- You don't receive a receipt and can't find it in your spam or junk folder
- The edit link in your receipt doesn't work
- You believe your donation was made in error or without your authorization
- You notice an unexpected charge or refund
