Every gift on GiveSendGo matters. Here's what you can expect once yours goes through.
You'll Receive a Receipt by Email
You'll receive a donation receipt at the email address you entered during checkout. The receipt is sent from our @givesendgo.info email address. If you don't see it right away, check your spam or junk folder.
The receipt will show the name you provided at checkout. If you need to view your receipt again, you can find it in your My Impact page. If you still can't access it, Contact Us and we can help.
What Fundraiser Organizers Can See
Even if you choose to donate anonymously, the fundraiser organizer and recipient can still see your name and email address in their Donations tab. This allows them to track donations accurately and reach out to thank you. Your anonymity setting only controls what appears publicly on the fundraiser page.
What You Can Update After Donating
Using the Edit Your Donation link in your receipt email, you can:
- Edit the name displayed on the fundraiser page
- Change your anonymity setting
- Update or remove the comment you left with your donation
For full details, see Edit Your Name, Comment, or Anonymity After Giving.
If you set up a recurring monthly donation and need to update your payment method, see Managing or Cancelling a Recurring Donation (Subscription).
Emails You May Receive
Depending on your selections at checkout, you may receive:
- Fundraiser updates, if you chose to follow the fundraiser
- Occasional emails from GiveSendGo, if you opted in during checkout
You can manage or unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the links in any email we send.
If Something Doesn't Look Right
Most donations go through without issue. If you run into any of the following, Contact Us and our team will look into it:
- You don't receive a receipt and can't find it in spam or junk
- The edit link in your receipt doesn't work
- You believe your donation was made in error or without your authorization
- You notice an unexpected charge or refund
Donations on GiveSendGo are generally considered final. If you'd like to request a refund, see Requesting a Refund.
