How to Manage and Reply to Giver Comments on Your GiveSendGo Campaign

Managing and Replying to Giver Comments

You can manage, remove, and reply to donation comments directly from your Campaign Dashboard.

Remove a Donation Comment

To remove a comment:
  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Open your Campaign Dashboard
  3. Click Campaign Data
  4. Select Comments/Replies
  5. Click the trash can icon next to the comment you want to remove
The comment will be removed immediately from your public campaign page.

Who Can Edit Donation Comments

Campaign organizers and recipients can remove comments, but cannot modify the content of a giver’s message. Givers can edit their own comments using the link provided in their donation receipt.

If a comment includes information that should not be public, you will need to delete it rather than edit it.

Reply to a Donation Comment

You can reply publicly to comments left on your campaign. To reply to a comment:
  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Open your Campaign Dashboard
  3. Click Campaign Data
  4. Select Comments/Replies
  5. Locate the comment
  6. Click the pencil icon next to the comment
  7. Enter your message in the Reply On Comment field
Your reply will appear directly beneath the giver’s original comment on your campaign page.
