How to Manage and Reply to Giver Comments on Your GiveSendGo Fundraiser

Managing and Replying to Giver Comments on GiveSendGo

Giver comments give supporters a way to share encouragement alongside their gifts. You can manage and reply to those comments directly from your fundraiser dashboard.

Remove a Donation Comment

To remove a comment from your fundraiser page:

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Go to My Campaigns and open the fundraiser you want to manage
  3. Scroll to Recent Comments
  4. Click View All Comments
  5. Click the three dots next to the comment, then click Delete
  6. Confirm in the pop-up

The comment will be removed immediately from your public fundraiser page.

Who Can Edit Donation Comments

Fundraiser organizers and recipients can remove giver comments, but they cannot edit the content of a giver's message. If a comment includes information that should not be public, remove the comment.

Givers can edit their own comments using the link provided in their donation receipt. See Edit Your Name, Comment, or Anonymity After Giving for details.

Reply to a Donation Comment

You can reply publicly to comments left on your fundraiser:

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Go to My Campaigns and open the fundraiser you want to manage
  3. Scroll to Recent Comments
  4. Click View All Comments
  5. Click Reply next to the comment you want to respond to
  6. Type your response, then click Reply to post

Your reply will appear directly beneath the giver's original comment on your fundraiser page.
