Managing and Replying to Giver Comments
Giver
comments are a chance to see the impact of your fundraiser in real
time. GiveSendGo gives you the tools to manage and respond to them
directly from your Fundraiser Dashboard.
To remove a comment:
- Log in to your GiveSendGo account
- Open your Fundraiser Dashboard
- Scroll to the Recent Comments section
- Click View All Comments
- Click the three-dot menu next to the comment you want to remove
- Click Delete twice
Fundraiser
organizers and recipients can remove comments but cannot modify the
content of a giver's message. Givers can edit their own comments using
the link provided in their donation receipt.
If a comment includes information that should not be public, you will need to delete it rather than edit it.
You can reply publicly to comments left on your campaign. To reply to a comment:
- Log in to your GiveSendGo account
- Open your Fundraiser Dashboard
- Scroll to the Recent Comments section and click View All Comments
- Click Reply on the comment
- Type your message in the reply field
- Click Send Reply
Your
reply will appear directly beneath the giver's original comment on your
fundraiser page. To edit a reply you've already sent, click Edit Reply and make your changes, then click Update Reply.
