How to Edit Your Donation Details on GiveSendGo

Edit Your Name, Comment, or Anonymity After Giving

Need to update your donation after you've it? Whether you want to change how your name displays, adjust your anonymity settings, or edit a comment you left, GiveSendGo makes it easy to update your donation details. This process allows you to update how your donation appears, but does not allow changes to the donation amount or payment method.

Editing Your Donation Details

Find Your Donation Receipt Email

After you give to a campaign on GiveSendGo, you’ll receive a receipt email. Can’t find it? Be sure to check your spam or junk folders.
In the receipt email, locate the Edit Your Donation link (you’ll see a "Click here" prompt). Clicking the link will open the page where you can make updates.

Make Your Changes

Below are some of the things you can change:
  1. Update Display Name: Change how your name appears on the campaign page
  2. Adjust Anonymity Settings: Choose whether your gift is public or anonymous by selecting or unselecting the Hide my name from public view option
  3. Edit Your Message: Update the comment you included with your gift if needed
After editing, click the Update Donation button to lock in your changes.
