Edit Your Name, Comment, or Anonymity After Giving

You can update certain details on a donation after it's been submitted, including your display name, anonymity setting, and the message you left. Here's how.

You can't change the donation amount or payment method after a donation is complete.

How to Edit Your Donation

  1. Open your donation receipt email. Can't find it? Check your spam or junk folder.
  2. Click the Edit Your Donation link in the email.
  3. On the page that opens, update any of the following:
    • Display Name: change how your name appears on the fundraiser page
    • Hide My Name from Public View: check or uncheck to adjust your anonymity setting
    • Message: edit the comment you included with your donation
  4. Click Update Donation to save your changes.

Tip: Can't find your receipt email, or the Edit Your Donation link isn't working? Contact Us and we'll update the details for you.

What You Can't Change

The donation amount and payment method are fixed once a donation is submitted. If you believe a donation was made in error, see Requesting a Refund.
