Publishing and Unpublishing Your Fundraiser on GiveSendGo

You're in full control of when your fundraiser is live. Once published, you can unpublish it at any time from My Campaigns.

Publishing Your Fundraiser

Publishing makes your fundraiser visible and searchable on GiveSendGo. Once live, anyone with the link can view your story and give.

To publish your fundraiser:

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Go to My Campaigns
  3. On your fundraiser's header card, click Publish
  4. In the confirmation pop-up, click Publish again
First fundraiser on GiveSendGo? Verify your email address before publishing. This step is required before your fundraiser can go live.

Unpublishing Your Fundraiser

Unpublishing takes your fundraiser offline. When a fundraiser is unpublished:

  • It no longer appears in search results
  • Visitors to your page will see an "unpublished" message
  • Your fundraiser stops accepting donations

To unpublish your fundraiser:

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Go to My Campaigns
  3. On your fundraiser's header card, click Unpublish
  4. In the confirmation pop-up, click Unpublish again
Unpublishing cancels all active recurring donations immediately and permanently. If you republish your fundraiser, one-time donations can resume, but recurring donations will not restart. Givers who want to give regularly will need to set up a new recurring donation.

Other Ways to Pause Donations

If you want to stop accepting donations without unpublishing, you have two other options:

  • Hide donate function β€” keeps your fundraiser page visible but hides the donate button so no new gifts can be made. Find this toggle under Settings β†’ General Settings.
  • Set your fundraiser to private β€” keeps your fundraiser live and accepting donations, but only people with the direct link can see it. See Set Your Fundraiser to Private.
