Set Your Fundraiser to Private

Some stories are meant for a specific circle, family, close friends, or a trusted community. Setting your fundraiser to private lets you share it only with the people you choose.

When your fundraiser is set to private:

  • It will not appear in GiveSendGo search results
  • It will not appear in category listings
  • Only people with the direct fundraiser link can view and give

Making Your Fundraiser Private

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Go to My Campaigns and open the fundraiser you want to manage
  3. Click Settings on the Dashboard
  4. Scroll to Privacy Settings
  5. Toggle Make my campaign private to On

To make your fundraiser public again, follow the same steps and toggle the switch to Off.

What to Know About Private Fundraisers

  • Private fundraisers are fully functional. Givers can donate as long as they have the direct link
  • Anyone with the URL can access the page, so be intentional about who you share it with
  • Setting your fundraiser to private does not affect funds already raised
