Set Up a Custom Thank You Message for Givers on GiveSendGo

You can create a custom thank-you message to personally acknowledge givers after they support your fundraiser. This message is emailed automatically after each gift and is sent in addition to the standard donation receipt. It only goes to givers who donate after the message is set up, not to anyone who has already given.

How to Add or Edit Your Thank You Message

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Go to My Campaigns and open the fundraiser you want to manage
  3. Click Settings on the Dashboard
  4. Under General Settings, toggle Send custom message to givers on
  5. Enter your message in the text box
  6. Click Save message

Your message will be sent automatically to each giver after they donate. After saving, the button changes to Edit Message to Givers so you can update the message at any time.

Tips for Writing Your Message

Keep it short and personal. Tell givers what their support means and how the funds will be used. A few genuine sentences go a long way.
