How to Set or Update Your Goal

You can change your goal at any time. There's no limit on updates.
Set a Realistic Starting Goal
A goal that feels attainable based on your situation and network tends to build momentum faster. You can always increase your goal later if your needs grow or you reach your original target.
Account for Transaction Fees
GiveSendGo does not charge platform fees, but our payment processing partner deducts a transaction fee from each donation. When setting your goal, factor in the total you'll need after processing fees are applied.
