If you need to update the bank account connected to your fundraiser, the process starts with a quick message to our team, and we'll get you set up from there.
How to Request a Bank Account Update
To update your bank account, Contact Us from the email address associated with your GiveSendGo account and include:
- Your fundraiser URL
- A clear request to update your connected bank account
Once we receive your request, we'll enable the bank account update option in your fundraiser dashboard and send you an email with next steps.
Completing the Update
When you go to complete the update in your dashboard, you'll be prompted to enter your GiveSendGo password. This confirms that you're the account holder authorizing the change.
If you don't remember your password, you can reset it from the login page before completing the bank update.
If a Transfer Is in Progress
Bank accounts cannot be updated while a transfer is actively processing. You'll need to wait until the transfer completes or fails before the update can go through. If you're not sure of the transfer status, Contact Us and we can check for you.
For more on how transfers work, see How Transfers Work on GiveSendGo. Thanks for keeping your account information current, it helps make sure every transfer reaches you without delay.
