different platforms, emails, or promotions, so you can see what's
working
Why Use a Referral Code

Enable Referral Codes
- Log in to your GiveSendGo account
- Open your Fundraiser Dashboard
- Click Settings
- Scroll to Referral Codes
- Toggle on Enable referral codes
- Click Update
Create a Referral Code
Once enabled, a code creation form will appear. Enter a custom code in the Create a new referral code field. Note that codes must be fewer than 20 characters. If you'd prefer not to create one manually, click Generate Random to have one created for you. Click Save to apply the code.
How Referral Codes Work
When
someone uses your referral link, their donation will be tagged with
that code. You can see which link led each giver to your fundraiser by
exporting your donation data since the code appears in the Referral Code column of the CSV you can download from your Donations section. See Accessing and Exporting Your Fundraiser Data for instructions.
