Modified on Fri, Apr 25 at 6:55 PM

Want to control whether givers and visitors can leave comments on your campaign page? GiveSendGo makes it easy to turn donation comments on or off with just a few clicks. Whether you're looking to foster engagement or keep things more private, here’s how to update your settings.

How to Adjust Donation Comment Settings

To enable or disable donation comments on your campaign:

  • Log in to your GiveSendGo account

  • Open your Campaign Dashboard

  • Open the Manage Campaign dropdown in your menu

  • Choose Donation Settings

  • Toggle the switch next to Do not allow comments to turn donation comments on or off, depending on your preference

When the setting is on, givers and visitors will not be able to leave public comments on your campaign.
When it’s off, comments are enabled and will appear on your public campaign page.

Other Display Options in Donation Settings

While you’re in the Donation Settings panel, you can also manage additional display preferences, including:

  • Anonymous Givers: Automatically display all donations as anonymous.

  • Name and Amount Visibility: Choose whether to show the giver’s name, donation amount, or both.

  • Total Raised Display: Show or hide the total amount raised on your campaign page.

These options give you control over how your campaign appears to supporters and allow you to maintain the level of privacy and transparency that’s right for your situation.
