Sometimes, you may prefer to share your campaign only with a select group of people. Making your campaign private gives you control over who can access it. Enabling this feature means only people with the direct URL will be able to view and donate to your campaign.
This can be especially helpful if you want to limit visibility, ensure privacy for sensitive causes, or keep it within a smaller circle of supporters.
To Set Your Campaign to Private:
Log in to your GiveSendGo account
Go to your Campaign Dashboard by selecting it from the menu
Click Manage Campaign to open the campaign settings
Navigate to Privacy Settings
Toggle the switch On
Once your campaign is set to private, only people with the campaign’s direct URL can access it. You can change this setting at any time by following the same steps but toggling the switch Off.
Important Considerations
Campaign visibility: Keep in mind that once your campaign is private, it will not appear in search results or on GiveSendGo's categories page.
Control over the link: Make sure to share the URL only with the intended people, as they’ll be the only ones who can access the page.
