AA: Campaign Search Criteria Issues

Users may have trouble locating their campaign on our site through search tool or their chosen Category. Here are a few steps an agent can do to resolve this. 

  1. Check Privacy Settings:

    • Navigate to "Manage Campaign > Privacy Settings."
    • Ensure the campaign is not set to private. If it is, advise the user to adjust the privacy settings accordingly.
  2. Minimum Donation Threshold:

    • Inform the user that campaigns need to receive over $100 USD in donations to appear in their chosen category. Verify if the campaign has reached this threshold.
  3. Provide Search Tips:

    • Utilize the CR "Site Search Issues: Tips for finding your campaign on GiveSendGo" to assist the user in refining their search.
  4. Manual Search:

    • Conduct a manual search for the campaign using its title, campaign organizer's name (CO), and recipient's name. Input these details into the search tool and review the results.
  5. Escalation to Tech Support:

    • If the campaign remains elusive after following the above steps, escalate the issue to tech support for further investigation.
    • Include the search terms used during the manual search for reference in the escalation report.
