How GiveSendGo Uses Your Phone Number

On GiveSendGo, your phone number is used for two things: verifying your account when you sign up, and helping you recover access if you're ever locked out. We don't use it for marketing and we never share it with third parties.

Account Verification

When you create your account, we'll send a one-time code to your mobile phone. Entering that code confirms that the number is valid and that you're the one creating the account, which helps protect the GiveSendGo community from fraudulent signups.

Account Recovery

If you ever lose access to your account, your verified phone number lets us confirm your identity quickly so we can get you back in securely.

No Mobile Phone?

You can use the number of someone you trust, such as a family member or close friend, to complete verification. If that's not an option, reach out via the Contact Us button and we'll find another way.
