Creating a User Account on GiveSendGo

Creating a GiveSendGo account is the first step toward launching your fundraiser and sharing your story with the world.

Start the Sign-Up Process

Go to the GiveSendGo sign-up page and fill in your account details:

1. Legal first name
2. Legal last name
3. Email address
4. Phone number: select your country code, then enter your number
5. Password: use a strong, unique password for your GiveSendGo account

Complete the CAPTCHA, then click Next to continue.

Note: If you'll be the recipient of your fundraiser, your legal name will appear as the Fundraiser funds will be received by name on your fundraiser page. To use a different display name, see Changing a Recipient Display Name.

Verify Your Email Address

Next, we'll send a 6-digit code to the email address you signed up with:

1. Check your email for the code
2. Enter the code on the screen
3. Click Complete Registration

Each time you request a new code, only the newest one works, and it's good for about 10 minutes. If you don't receive it or run into any issues, see Troubleshooting Issues with Signup Verification Codes.

Complete Your Profile

Finally, you'll be asked for a few more details:

• Your country
• Your city
• Your postal code
• How you heard about GiveSendGo (select from the dropdown)
• Any social media profiles you wish to share (optional, as this can help speed up fundraiser verification)

You can also choose to opt in to GiveSendGo announcements before clicking Save.
