You Launched a Campaign—Now Let’s Get the Word Out!
Congratulations on starting your GiveSendGo campaign! That first step is huge—and now it’s time to invite others into your story. Here are some simple, powerful ways to share your campaign and connect with people who want to support you.
Share Your “Why”
People don’t just give to causes—they give to people. Take a moment to introduce yourself and explain what inspired your campaign. Speak from the heart. The more personal and honest you are, the more others will feel connected to your journey.
Add a Video (No Studio Needed!)
A short, heartfelt video can go a long way. You don’t need fancy equipment—just your phone and your voice. Explain why you started the campaign, who it's for, and how people can help.
To add a video to your campaign banner:
Go to your Campaign Dashboard
Click Manage Campaign > Campaign Edit
Navigate to the Media section
Paste your YouTube video URL—it will replace the banner image with your video
? This is a great way to bring your campaign to life the moment someone visits your page.
Upload Powerful Images
Clear, authentic photos help your campaign feel real and relatable.
To upload images to your Image Gallery:
Head to your Campaign Dashboard
Upload your images directly—they’ll appear in the photo carousel on your campaign page
? Add photos regularly to keep your campaign fresh and visually engaging.
Keep People Updated

To post a campaign update:

Click Updates, then New Update

? Use updates to celebrate milestones, share stories, and rally supporters for one final push!
Reply to Donor Comments
A kind reply builds loyalty and community.
To reply to comments:
Go to your Campaign Dashboard
Click Campaign Data > Comments/Replies
Find the comment and click Reply
? Even a quick “Thank you so much, [Name]!” can mean the world.
Create a Hashtag
Pick a short, memorable hashtag like #TeamForTina
or #SupportSarah
. Use it every time you post about your campaign on social media—it makes your updates easier to find and helps build a sense of community.
Show Gratitude
Always thank your donors. Whether it’s a quick comment reply, a shoutout in an update, or a short thank-you video, showing appreciation strengthens connection and inspires sharing.
Extra Tips for More Traction
Share Weekly: Don’t just post once. Share updates on social media weekly to keep the momentum going.
Use Groups: Share in relevant Facebook groups, church bulletins, or community newsletters.
