Keeping your supporters informed is one of the most powerful ways to build momentum and strengthen your campaign. After all, they've chosen to invest in you and your idea, so you should invest in them too! Whether it’s big news or a small thank-you, updates help people feel part of the journey—and encourage them to keep giving or spread the word.
Why Updates Matter
Every update is a chance to:
Show progress toward your fundraising goal
Thank your supporters for their generosity
Tell your story in a deeper way
Explain how funds will be used
Keep your campaign visible and active on the site and in supporter feeds
And the best part? Updates don’t need to be long or perfect. Just be honest, kind, and consistent.
Ideas for What to Share
