In addition to the automated donation receipt, your custom message will be emailed directly to givers after they contribute to your campaign. It’s a simple yet far more personal way to express heartfelt gratitude, strengthen your connection with each giver, and encourage continued support.


Steps to Add or Edit Your Custom Thank You Message

To set up a thank-you message that is sent to your giver once they give to your campaign:

  • Sign in to your GiveSendGo account
  • Open your Campaign Dashboard

  • Click Manage Campaign, then select Custom Thank You

  • Type your message into the text box provided

  • Click Submit to save your message

Once saved, your custom thank-you message will be sent automatically to each giver when they donate to your campaign.


Tips for a Great Thank You Message

  • Be genuine: Speak from the heart and let your givers know their impact

  • Be specific: Mention what their gift will support or help accomplish

  • Keep it short and sincere: A brief, heartfelt note can go a long way
