Your campaign’s custom URL helps givers find and remember your campaign. If you need to update it or move it to a new campaign, here’s how it works.
Updating the Custom URL for an Existing Campaign
Custom URLs can’t be changed directly from your dashboard. If you need to update yours, contact us and include:
- Your current campaign URL
- The new custom URL you’d like to use
We’ll review the request and take care of the update for you.
Applying an Existing Custom URL to a New Campaign
If you’d like to use a custom URL from an old campaign on a new one, we can help transfer it. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Create Your New Campaign
Create your new campaign as usual, but leave the custom URL field blank during setup.
Step 2: Contact Our Support Team
Once your new campaign is live, contact our support team and let us know you’d like to transfer an existing custom URL to your new campaign. Include:
- The current campaign name and custom URL
- The name and URL of your new campaign
Step 3: We’ll Complete the Transfer
We’ll release the custom URL from your old campaign and assign it to the new one and confirm once the transfer is complete.
Do not delete your old campaign until the transfer is finished. If a campaign is deleted before the URL is moved, the custom URL may no longer be recoverable.
Custom URLs are assigned on a first-come basis and must be available in order to be used. If a URL has already been claimed by another campaign, it cannot be reassigned.
