Getting
funds to the right person is at the heart of every fundraiser. If you
need to update your recipient, the process depends on where things
stand.
When a Recipient Has Not Yet Accepted an Invitation
If the recipient has not yet accepted their invitation, you can update or remove them directly from your Fundraiser Dashboard. See Editing Recipient Details for more.
When a Recipient Has Already Accepted an Invitation
Reach out to us via the Contact Us button and include the:
- Fundraiser link
- The reason for the change
What Happens Next
If
the current recipient has already completed identity verification,
additional confirmation may be required before changes can be made.
Depending on the situation, we may:
- Request confirmation from the existing recipient
- Guide you through resetting the recipient
- Send an invitation to the new recipient.
Important
Do not delete your fundraiser to reset the recipient. This will only delay the process.
Double-check
recipient details before sending an invitation. Confirm the name and
email address are correct to avoid delays that require manual fixes.
