Click Start a GiveSendGo and complete the account creation flow. Make sure all the information you enter is accurate before saving your profile.
Make sure the recipient's country is on our Countries Supported on GiveSendGo list. If you select the wrong country, you won't be able to use the campaign, but you can always create a new one with the correct country selected.
If
the recipient's country is not supported, you may designate a trusted
individual in a supported country to receive the funds on their behalf
and transfer them outside of GiveSendGo.Choose your fundraising goal. You can display it on your campaign page as a total goal, a monthly goal, or keep it hidden entirely.
Choose a compelling title for your campaign. You can also create a custom campaign link (see Creating a Custom Campaign Link), or simply use the one we automatically generate for you.
Choose the category that best fits your campaign. Don't stress about getting it perfect, just pick the closest match. It won't affect your campaign's visibility or success, and you can always update it later if needed.
If your campaign is not actually for an electoral candidate or political office, do not select the Political category. Doing so will add unnecessary fields that may confuse donors and cause donations to be declined or automatically refunded.
If you are a candidate fundraising for an electoral campaign, see our article Political Candidate Fundraiser Setup for important information about required donation fields and current platform limitations before selecting the Political category.
If you'd like, you can pledge a portion of the funds your campaign raises to help support GiveSendGo and our mission of sharing the hope of Jesus through crowdfunding. You can adjust your giving-back percentage at any time. Learn more about giving back to GiveSendGo in our article Supporting GiveSendGo.
Your story is the heart of your campaign. Share why you're raising funds, who it will help, and how donations will make a meaningful difference. Be clear, specific, and honest so people understand the impact of their support.
A photo or video is required to publish your campaign: it will appear at the top of your page and is the first thing visitors see. You can upload additional images later. Videos are added by pasting a link; direct video uploads are not currently supported. For more, see Adding Images and Videos to Your Campaign.
Once you publish your campaign, your campaign is live and can begin receiving donations. See Publishing and Unpublishing Your Campaign for details.
After publishing, add a recipient and designate who will receive the funds. This step is required before any payouts can be processed. See Adding a Recipient for a full walkthrough.
