How to Change a Recipient Display Name

Need to update the recipient name shown on your GiveSendGo campaign? Whether you're switching to a professional name or simply don't want your identity to be disclosed on your campaign page, you can change the campaign funds will be received by name with the help of our support team. Here’s everything you need to know about the process before submitting your request.

WarningImpersonation Policy Reminder: Recipient names must accurately reflect the individual, business, or organization directly involved with the campaign. We cannot approve display names that misrepresent your relationship to the fundraiser, even if you're raising funds on someone else's behalf.

Before You Start

For Campaign Organizers:

If you're the campaign owner and want to change the campaign created by name on the campaign, you can do this yourself. There's no need to reach out to us—just follow our guide on how to edit your campaign.

For Business Recipients:

When adding a recipient, be sure to select Business/Organization as the recipient type. Doing so means the business name will appear as the campaign funds will be received by name on your campaign page, so you won't need to request a change.
