Deleting Your Fundraiser on GiveSendGo

When we delete a fundraiser, we remove it from the site and its page no longer loads. If you're ready to take yours down, here's what you need to know before submitting your request.

Before You Request Deletion

Your fundraiser's balance must be zero before we can delete it.

• If there are still funds in your fundraiser, we'll help you complete a transfer or refund your givers first
• If no money was raised, we can process your request right away

Funds come first. We delete a fundraiser only after its funds have been transferred or refunded. We keep donation records and receipts for legal and financial recordkeeping, as we do for every account.

How to Request Deletion

To delete your fundraiser, Contact Us from the email address on the GiveSendGo account the fundraiser belongs to, and include the following in your message:

• Your fundraiser link
• A clear statement that you want the fundraiser deleted
• The reason for your request

Our team will email you to confirm. Reply from the account's email and we'll complete the deletion.

What Happens After Deletion

• We remove your fundraiser from the site
• Your fundraiser page no longer loads

If you're not ready to delete but want to stop accepting donations for now, turn on Hide donate function in your fundraiser's Settings. Your page stays visible and no new donations can be made. See Donation Display Settings on GiveSendGo.
