How to Add an Offline Donation to Your GiveSendGo Campaign

How to Manually Add an Offline Donation to Your Campaign

If you’ve received a gift outside of GiveSendGo for the same purpose as your campaign—whether by cash, check, or another offline method—you don’t need to make a donation to your campaign on the giver’s behalf. You'll have to pay processing fees that will unnecessarily eat into the funds you've raised while taking some of your precious time!

Instead, you can use the Offline Donations feature to manually record the gift. This ensures your campaign reflects all of your fundraising activity—online and off. It’s the simplest way to keep your campaign totals accurate while honoring support received outside the platform.

Steps to Enter an Offline Donation

To manually add an offline donation to your campaign:
  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Open your Campaign Dashboard
  3. Click Manage Campaign from the left-hand menu
  4. Select Offline Donations toward the bottom of the dropdown list
  5. Enter the details of the donation received
  6. Click Save
Once added, the offline donation will appear in your campaign’s totals and giver reports, just like any online donation—but without triggering an automatic email receipt.
