How to Request a Payout on GiveSendGo

How to Request a Payout

Once your campaign is verified, you can begin requesting payouts as funds become available. Before you get started, ensure that:
  • You are the recipient. Only campaign recipients can initiate a payout. Campaign owners cannot initiate payouts unless they are also the campaign recipient.

  • Your campaign has completed verification. If you're still seeing Recipient Details in your campaign dashboard instead of Payouts, that means your campaign hasn't been verified and payouts can’t be initiated.

  • Your funds are eligible for payout. Your first payout will become available 5 days after you receive your first donation. After that, new donations are added to your available balance on a 3-day rolling basis.

If these requirements are met, you’re ready to request a payout. If you’d like a deeper breakdown of how payouts work, see How Payouts Work on GiveSendGo.

Initiate a Payout

  1. Log into your GiveSendGo account
  2. Open your Campaign Dashboard
  3. Go to the Payouts section
  4. Decide on your preferred payout type:

Manual Payouts

Manual payouts let you decide when to withdraw funds from your campaign. By default, a manual payout request will pay out your full available balance. If you'd like to withdraw only part of it, see Partial Payouts below.

To submit a manual payout, click the Send Payout Request button in the Payouts section of your campaign dashboard. Once submitted, your payout will begin processing and you’ll receive a confirmation email. Funds typically arrive in your bank account within 2–3 business days.

If you don’t see the Send Payout Request button, it likely means your donations have not finished processing. Check back once the processing window has passed. If the button still doesn’t appear after that point, reach out to us via the Contact Us button and we’ll take a closer look for you.

Partial Payouts

To withdraw only part of your available balance, submit a manual payout request and reach out to us via the Contact Us button. Include:
  1. Your campaign URL
  2. The specific amount you'd like to withdraw
We'll process the partial amount rather than your full available balance.

Automatic Payouts

To set up recurring payouts:

  1. Choose your payout frequency:
    1. Weekly
    2. Biweekly
    3. Monthly
  2. Set your Start Date
  3. Click Save

As long as you have funds in your available balance that meet the minimum threshold, your funds will be automatically transferred according to your chosen schedule. These vary by country, so check the minimum payout amount for yours here.
