Countries Supported on GiveSendGo

GiveSendGo connects fundraiser organizers and givers across the globe. Whether you're starting a fundraiser or giving to one, here's what you need to know about country support.

For Fundraiser Organizers

When you create a fundraiser, you'll select the recipient's country during setup. This country must match where the recipient's bank account is located, as it determines the currency your fundraiser raises in and where transfers can be sent.

Before creating your fundraiser, confirm the recipient's country is on the supported countries list. If it isn't listed, transfers to that country are not currently available.

If the recipient's country isn't supported: You may designate a trusted individual in a supported country to receive the funds on their behalf and transfer them outside of GiveSendGo.

One important note: once a fundraiser is created, the recipient's country cannot be changed. If you selected the wrong country, you'll need to create a new fundraiser with the correct country selected.

For Givers

Givers from anywhere in the world can donate to any fundraiser on GiveSendGo.

The donation form always shows the amount in the fundraiser's currency, which is the currency of the recipient's country. If you're giving from a different country, you'll enter the amount in that currency (not your own). GiveSendGo does not convert the amount to your local currency during checkout. Your bank or card provider handles the conversion at their own rate when the transaction processes.

If you want to know what your gift will cost in your local currency before donating, use a free online currency converter such as Google Currency Converter or XE. Enter the fundraiser's displayed amount and select your local currency to see the equivalent.

For more on cross-currency giving, including fees your bank may apply, see Donating to a Fundraiser in a Different Currency.
