Our campaign story and campaign updates editor provides a range of formatting options to help you create engaging and well-structured stories for your campaigns. We'll cover each of the available formatting options and provide tips on how to use them effectively.
Please note that our text editor has a maximum character limit of 10,000, including spaces. Be mindful of this limit as you write your story, ensuring it is brief yet powerful enough to engage your potential donors. Each word counts, so make them meaningful!
Style
The Style dropdown menu allows you to choose between different styles for your text:
- Normal: Default text style
- Quote: For showcasing quotations
- Code: For displaying code snippets. (Advanced)
- Heading 1-6: For creating headings and subheadings of varying sizes
Bold
Use the Bold button to make your text stand out by applying a thicker, more prominent font style.
Underline
The Underline button adds emphasis to your text by placing a line beneath it.
Remove Font Style
If you'd like to revert your text to the default style, use the Remove Font Style button.
Color
The Color menu allows you to change the background and text color of your content. To apply a color, select either the Background or Text color option, and choose the desired color from the palette.
List
Organize your content using the List options:
- Unordered: Create bulleted lists for items that don't require a specific order
- Ordered: Use numbered lists for items that follow a sequential order
Paragraph
The Paragraph menu offers various alignment and indentation options for your text:
- Left: Align your text to the left margin
- Centered: Center your text horizontally on the page
- Right: Align your text to the right margin
- Justified: Distribute your text evenly between the left and right margins
- Outdent: Decrease the indentation of your text
- Indent: Increase the indentation of your text
Table
To add a table to your campaign story, click the Table button and select the desired number of rows and columns. You can edit the table content, add or delete rows and columns, and modify the table properties as needed.
Link
Add hyperlinks to your text with the Link button. To create a link, highlight the desired text, click the Link button, and enter the URL in the provided field. You can also choose to have the link open in a new window.
