Setting Your Campaign Goal
When creating a campaign on GiveSendGo, your fundraising goal should reflect your actual financial need. Setting a thoughtful goal helps supporters understand what you’re raising funds for and how their gift contributes.
Set a Realistic Goal
Starting
with a realistic number can help build early momentum and credibility.
Choose an initial goal that feels attainable based on your situation and
network. You can increase your goal later if your needs grow or you
reach your original target.
Factor in Transaction Fees
While
GiveSendGo does not charge platform fees, our third-party payment
processor deducts a small transaction fee from each donation. When
setting your goal, consider the total amount you’ll need after
processing fees are applied. This will help ensure you receive the
amount required for your situation.
For a full breakdown of fees, see our article Understanding Fees on GiveSendGo.
