Creating and Managing a Custom Fundraiser Link

Your custom fundraiser link is part of your fundraiser's identity. It's how givers find you and how you share your story. You can set one at any time once you've created a fundraiser.

Setting Your Custom Link

To set or update your custom link, go to your fundraiser Dashboard and select Edit Campaign. Locate the Campaign URL box, enter the link you'd like to use, and click Update Campaign.

Your custom link can include letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores. Keep it simple, clear, and closely related to your fundraiser's purpose—it's easier to share and easier to remember.

If Your Preferred Link Is Already Taken

Custom links are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If the link you enter is already in use, GiveSendGo will automatically assign you a variation of what you entered, but with a short suffix. For example, if my-fundraiser is taken, you'll receive something like my-fundraiser-vh55f. If you'd prefer something other than a randomly generated suffix, simply enter a different link in the Campaign URL field.

A Note on Changing Your Link

Any links people have previously saved or shared will stop working, so make sure to update anywhere you've posted your link before making the change.

Transferring an Existing Link to a New Fundraiser

If you want to move a custom link from one fundraiser to another, you can do it yourself directly from each fundraiser's Edit Campaign page. Set a temporary placeholder link on the fundraiser currently holding the link you want, then assign that link to your new fundraiser.
