Understanding Payouts: Your Guide to Accessing Funds on GiveSendGo

At GiveSendGo, we offer two convenient payout options to access the funds you raise: Automatic Payouts and Manual Payouts. Here’s how you can utilize these features to best suit your campaign’s needs.


Verification: Before you can access the 'Payouts' section in your campaign dashboard, it's essential to complete the verification process, which includes the following requirements:

  • Provide a bank account in the fundraiser’s currency.
  • Upload a government-issued photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Provide a local phone number.
  • Specify your residential address.
  • Include your Tax ID (if applicable).
  • You must be 18 years or older.

After completing the verification steps and as donations come in, we enter the campaign verification stage, which typically takes about 48 hours. During this process, we may request additional information if necessary. Once the final review is done, and your campaign is verified, payouts will be enabled, and the 'Payouts' section will appear in your campaign dashboard.


Setup: Recipients can access their payouts in the 'Payouts' section of their campaign dashboard. 


Automatic Payouts:

  • Convenience: Funds are sent directly to your bank account according to the schedule you set.
  • Frequency: Choose from options like weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly during setup.


Manual Payouts:

  • Control: You decide when to withdraw your funds by requesting a payout manually.
  • Request: Use the ‘Send Payout Request’ button when it's active.


Switching Between Modes: You can switch between automatic and manual payout requests at any time. Note that the first automatic request will occur seven days after saving your preference when switching from manual to automatic.


Security and Notifications: Keep your banking information current and regularly check your account settings. Stay updated on payouts via email notifications and your GiveSendGo dashboard.


Payout Periods:

  • Initial Payout: Available 5 days after your campaign's first successful donation.
  • Subsequent Donations: Each donation is processed within 3 days and then available for payout.


Payout Requests:

  • Automatic: No request needed; payouts follow your schedule.
  • Manual: Submit new requests 3 days after your last payout approval.


Partial Payouts (Manual Only): If you need a specific amount, contact us before making your payout request.


Deposit Timeframe: Funds typically deposit within 3-5 business days after processing.


Fees: Detailed in our pricing and fees page.


Held Funds: Some funds, especially donations over $1,000 USD, may take up to 10 days to process. Additional holds may apply for high-risk donations.

 

Recipient Types and Verification: 

  • Individuals: Require ID verification and bank information.
  • Organizations/Non-Profits: Legal Representatives must provide ID verification, EIN, and official bank information. Additional documents like business registration may be needed.
  • Businesses: Similar requirements as organizations/non-profits.
