What Happens During Campaign Verification?

Before donations can be paid out, all GiveSendGo campaigns go through a standard verification process. This helps ensure the safety, transparency, and legitimacy of every fundraiser on our platform.


What We Verify

We check the following:

  • Campaign content and purpose
    Is the fundraiser clear, honest, and compliant with our Terms of Service?

  • Recipient identity
    The person receiving funds must have their identity successfully verified.

  • Payout setup
    Recipients must link a valid bank account to receive funds securely.


How Long Does It Take?

Most campaigns are reviewed within 1–2 business days of the recipient uploading their ID or the campaign receiving its first donation—whichever comes later.

If more information is needed, we’ll reach out to you letting you know what we need to have updated, uploaded, or clarified.


What You Can Do

  • Add a recipient as soon as possible in your campaign dashboard.

  • Check your email (including your spam folder!) for any verification-related emails from us. They’ll come from info@givesendgo.com or support@givesendgo.com.

  • Complete verification in your dashboard to prevent payout delays.
