How to Make All Givers to Your GiveSendGo Campaign Anonymous

Want to protect giver privacy while simplifying your campaign’s look and feel? GiveSendGo allows you to automatically mark every giver as anonymous, so names don’t appear in the recent donations list on your campaign page. Whether you’re prioritizing discretion or creating a cleaner look, this feature makes it easy to manage giver visibility.

Steps to Make All Givers Appear Anonymous

  1. Log in to your GiveSendGo account
  2. Open your Campaign Dashboard
  3. Click Manage Campaign
  4. Navigate to Donation Settings
  5. Toggle the setting next to Make all givers anonymous to your preferred option
  6. Click Save to confirm the update
Once enabled, all donations will appear as Anonymous in the Donations section of your campaign page, regardless of whether the giver selected anonymity during checkout. If the setting is turned off, givers will appear by name unless they’ve chosen otherwise themself when they give.

Why Make Your Givers Anonymous?

Using this feature gives you greater control over how donations appear on your page. It’s ideal if:
  1. Your campaign supports a sensitive or personal cause
  2. You want to reduce the focus on giver names and emphasize your story
  3. You’re setting expectations around public recognition or privacy
From this same settings page, you can also:
  1. Show or hide donation amounts
  2. Turn comments on or off
  3. Display the giver’s name only, without showing the donation amount
